By creating an account or using Backline, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Backline provides tools for musicians to manage their bands, including scheduling, set list management, member coordination, and public promo pages. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must be at least 13 years old to use Backline. You may not share your account with others or use another person's account without their permission.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Backline to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
- Scrape or harvest data without our written consent
5. Your content
You retain ownership of any content you upload to Backline (songs, set lists, photos, videos, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store, display, and transmit it as necessary to operate the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and share any content you post.
6. Public promo pages
When you publish a band promo page, the content you choose to include becomes publicly accessible. You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of that content. We may remove any public content that violates these terms.
7. Intellectual property
The Backline name, logo, and all software and design elements of the service are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our written permission.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Backline is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Backline.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Backline after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
